Subjects: Bernard Laguardia, Razputine Panzerfaust, D

Bernard lays in the back seat of a stolen vehicle, with Raz in the driver's seat. They have traveled for the past two days only stopping for gas, food, and restroom breaks. Raz has no idea where to take them, only knowing they needed to move again. With the way He always tracked them, Raz knew they wouldn't be forgotten. Sooner or later another hollow would be sent after them. Just when they thought they were free, they would start being hunted again. It was a sickening cycle. Never ending. Hunted. Found. Punished. Released. Hunted again. He gripped the steering wheel tighter. Even when he had managed to hurt Him, what had he really managed to do? Further anger this entity, and that seemed about it. There had to be a way to break the cycle, to save him and Bernard... They had grown so close since they had gone on the run. Raz hadn't felt this way for another person since... Rachel.

Everytime his thoughts turned to her he could feel his heart sieze up, his palms sweat. The pain. The anger. The loss, still so fresh, even after four years. He knew he'd never really move on... that it was what kept him going. Revenge... but... what he had with Bernard now, it helped him.

So many  people had been lost... Rachel, Leslie, %i$$@, Susan, Drake, Ecko was surely dead... and all those people who had turned hollowed. The one's he had killed. He had managed to save his own humanity... and rather than try and save theirs, he killed them. Brutally usually.

He was a killer. He always told himself they deserved it because of what they had surely done, or would do under His control, but it didn't change the fact that he murdered them. Tore them limb from limb... and he enjoyed it. He would never admit it infront of Bernard, but it was exhilarating.

Bernard shifted in the back, yawning and stretching uncomfortably, slowly sitting up and leaning around the side of the driver's seat and giving Raz a small kiss on his cheek.

I'm done sleeping... this seat is killing my back. I'm ready to switch out if you're alright with that.

March 3rd 2014

Subjects: Bernard Laguardia, Razputine Panzerfaust, D

Raz lays in a bed, an ice pack on his head and a simple brace on his right leg, which he had landed on slightly more than his other when he fell with Cavan. He hadn't broken the bone, but had banged up the leg pretty badly, and the brace kept him from making what injury he had incurred from becoming worse. Bernard sits beside the bed in a chair and leans over, softly stroking his cheek.

Are you sure you're going to be okay, sweetheart? I know we have to leave tonight... but are you positive you didn't break anything?

I'm fine... and D- Yes? What did He try to get out of our heads?

He needed to know... something about Ecko... I think it was... maybe the location of Drake's body? I don't know... I just have vague feelings of what he pulled out of my head... our head.

Shit... Well whatever they need his body for... it can't be good. We're... hell... five days drive from the grave right? There's no way we'll make it in time. God damn it...

Raz groans and puts a hand on the icepack, pressing it firmly to his head. Bernard looks very worried and shakes his head.

B-but I mean... the athame is with the body, so that should protect it right? I mean even broken I'm sure it'd keep it safe. There's no way He, or any of his puppets could touch it.
Jump the Rail Fence.

Unless they found a way...
Three down.

Regardless, we can't stop them. We know that for sure, what we need to do, is pack up our things-
YNDTR IDIOE NWRHT SUEOO YIHD...

Raz grunts as he sits up, looking over at Bernard, placing a hand on the back of his head and pulling him over into a deep, but gentle kiss. As Raz breaks the kiss he keeps eye contact with Bernard, speaking just above a whisper.

and get to somewhere safe... I can't allow anything bad to happen to you Bernard... You've gone through too much, seen too much... and lost too much... Go get our food together and I'll pack up our clothes... I love you Bernard...

I... I love you too Raz...

December 28th 2013

Subject(s): Razputine Panzerfaust, Bernard Laguardia, D, Ecko

Raz and Bernard approach the door of the hotel and Raz knocks. The door swings open and Ecko stands in the doorway, a nervously flitting back and forth of his eyes as he checks to make sure they weren't followed.

C-Come inside.

They quickly step past the threshold and Ecko closes and locks the door behind them, motioning for them to sit on the bed as he grabs a chair and sits down across from them.

I-I'm glad you came when I called... I know who both of you are, and I'd like to assume you know who I am, as I'm sure you've read Drake's blog. Listen... I need to know that I can trust you... and D... Because I want to tell you where... where I buried him...

Of course! You know that D and I haven't been connected to Him for... years now, and clearly he can't just track us, because he's failed to find me, or Bernard after all this time.

Yeah you can trust this face! I would never do anything to betray your, Drake's, or Bernard's trust! Even though Drake has passed, I'd never let Him know where to find even his body.

Please... I want to pay my respects... I miss him so... much...

Bernard begins to cry and hides his face in Raz's shoulder, as Raz wraps and arm around him protectively. Ecko smiles softly, a tear coming to his eye before he nods and reaches into his pocket, pulling out a piece of paper that had been folded and refolded many times over. He holds it out for Raz. As Raz reaches out and grabs it, Ecko holds it and locks eyes with Raz.

He has it... and he's going there... but...
You may not know why... but really... you can never let Him get ahold of this information...01101000 01100101 00100000 01110111 01101111 01101110 01110100 00100000 01100110 01101001 01101110 01100100 00100000 01100001 01101110 01111001 01110100 01101000 01101001 01101110 01100111
Ecko lets go and turns around in his chair, grabbing a bottle of rum and three shot glasses.

Now I'd like you tw-three, sorry D, to share a shot with me. I'm going to go into hiding for real after this. I'm going to try and start a brand new life for myself, but I want to send you three off with my best wishes, and a little something warming your bellies.

Ecko hands Raz and Bernard each a shot glass. Bernard sniffs and smiles a little as he holds out the shot glass. Ecko quickly pours each of them a shot and then one for himself. He sniffs the shot and smiles before holding it out towards his guests.

Slainte! Oiche mhaith my friend...

They all tip back their shot glasses and sit for several more minutes, sharing stories of Drake before Bernard and Raz take their leave, thanking Ecko for his help.

March 1st 2014

Subject(s): Bernard Laguardia, Razputine Panzerfuast, D, Cavan Dolan

The moon is gone. The night is black.  Cavan sits in the bush in the parking lot of the hotel, breathing heavily behind his mask, eyes fixated on the hotel room on the second floor directly in front of him.

His orders haven't come in yet. He arrived only this past morning, but he has been itching to get a chance to go after D. The dirty traitor. To separate from His glory was unforgivable.

He'll die... let me kill him... let me....
Almost gleeful.

He mutters excitedly under his breath. He can barely contain himself. He runs a finger along his blade, a long, steel knife. Suddenly he lower his knife and falls silent. Even through he small holes in his mask, his eyes widen noticeably. He's received his orders.

=====================================================================

Raz sits at his desk, clicking idly through his internet browser, eating some toast.

Bernard is laying back in the bed, watching the TV and occasionally glancing over at Raz.

... are we going to talk about what D did to the poor innocent pers-

He didn't do it... clearly they just found us and left a message for us...

Raz snaps, glancing over his shoulder, though his eyes betray his doubt in his own words. Raz turns his head back around and takes a bite from his toast.

He couldn't have... wouldn't have done something so awful...

There's a soft rattling at the door, the rattling becoming louder. Bernard jumps and scrambles to the other side of the bed, hiding as best as he can. Raz leaps to the kitchen and grabs his kitchen knife and turns to face the door, walking to his desk and moving his chair out of the way.

The rattle shakes harder and harder before there's a soft 'click' and the door swings open.

Cavan stands in the doorway, knife held loosely at his side, his head cocked to the side.

So nice to meet you finally... Raz... and of course... D. You two are monsters... and you deserve to die... Not even my wonderful Master wants anything to do with you anymore... We need information... and that's it...

The words come out slowly, and full of venom.

Raz just smirks and grips his blade harder before rushing forward silently, briefly stepping on the bed to launch himself at Cavan.

Cavan calmly steps to the side of the doorway, Raz coming crashing out onto the walkway, hitting the railing before he swings to his right and slashes out at Cavan. Cavan takes another step back before he slices out at Raz with his own knife, red splattering against the window. An audibly gasp and whimper comes from within the hotel room as Bernard sees the blood. Raz hisses as he grabs his cheek, a deep slash almost making it through the meaty flesh. His shoulders shake slightly before suddenly he grins widely, and moves the hand now covered in his blood to his face and smears it on, almost like his own mask. D shifts the grip on his blade before lunging forward and stabbing at Cavan's chest.

Cavan is taken aback by the transition from Raz to D and just barely manages to jump to the side, catching the blade across his chest and gasping in pain and surprise. He starts to swing his blade around to stab D right in the shoulder but D stops suddenly and throws himself to the side, slamming his body into Cavan's, sending them over the railing and down to the concrete below. Cavan lands first on his back before D crashes right ontop of him, crushing his ribs instantly. D rolls off the stumbles on all fours for a second before standing up unsteadily and looking at the twitching, broken form of Cavan.

I'm going to enjoy... pulling you apart...
Don't talk... just act...
Too late...
D hisses between clenched teeth, switching his blade to his other hand, limping slowly back over to the now almost convulsing body of Cavan. Suddenly a black liquid begins pouring out from behind the mask, pooling on the ground. At first D just thinks that Cavan is hurt, before his whole body begins shaking. D whips around and there He isss. D cccowers, unaaable to face his old Masterrr. Heee leans dddown towards D. Hhheee reaches out to touch D's face, a fllleeting touch, and it pppasses quickly, but D collapses in a heap. Cavan is suddenly gone and D is left, unconscious on the ground. Bernard has been screaming for Raz and comes out onto the walkway and looks down, seeing the huddled form of D on the ground below. He rushes to his side, eager to take care of him.

February 22nd 2014

Subject: "D"

D slips out the door of the hotel room. It's close to midnight, and the moon is high and half full. He steps carefully away and creeps down the stairs to the ground floor. He has a very determined expression on his face as he makes his way away from the hotel. This was a mistake...

He walks for half an hour, making his way downtown, slipping into an alleyway. A wrench hangs loosely from his hand, a grin spreading across his face as he walks close to the wall of the alley, spying someone fiddling with the keys to the back door of their building.

Paint... I need paint...

He mutters as he sneaks closer, his grip tightening on the handle of the wrench. His foot hits a puddle, causing a small splash, and drawing the attention of the person trying to get inside. They turn to look in the direction of the sound but as they do, D bolts forward, raising the wrench high before slamming it down on the innocent bystander's head. Crimson splashes across the wall and door as the man collapses to the floor. He was so violent all the time. It was just good he never hurt Bernard.

Such pretty pretty colors...

D raises the wrench and slams it down on their head several more times, reducing their head to a bloody pulp. He throws the wrench to the side before dropping to his knees and grabbing their shirt, ripping it open before digging his fingers into their stomach and ripping a gory hole in them. D leans down and takes a deep breath, seeming to enjoy the smell of fresh blood before he sits up and looks down at the blood coating his hands.

He'll know it was me... Both of them will know... I'll get them.

D cups his hands inside of the man's torso and collects some blood before splashing it on a clean portion of the floor, quickly moving his hands, scrawling out in crude handwriting a message. "LOOK FOR ME. - D" He steps back and eyes the message for a few seconds before he thinks of something and grins wide. He kneels down and punches into the hole he had created in the man, coating himself in fresh blood once more. He goes to the wall and changes the O's in Look to eyes and then kneels down once more, grabbing one end of his intestines and pulls, stringing out a portion before raising it to his lips and biting off the section he needed. He positions the separated piece of intestines just below the O's, making a bloody smiley face. He stands up once more and looks down at the horrid mess he had made and smiles with pride, clapping his hands excitedly and jumping up and down a few times.

I'm such a talented artist! Oh Cavan won't be able to stay away! A taunt like that can never go unanswered.

D raises his hands to his face and licks the blood off, doing his best to reduce the amount of blood he might trail away with him. He grabs his wrench before running off, quickly making his way back to the hotel. He very carefully sneaks back in, and goes to take a shower to clean himself of all evidence. As he lays down beside Bernard he wraps his arms around the smaller male and hugs him tightly, before drifting peacefully off to sleep. Poor, poor Bernard.

February 21st 2014

Subject(s): Bernard Laguardia and "Razputine Panzerfaust"/"D" (no information on real name exists)

Bernard is curled up on a couch in their hotel room, watching the television set, tears streaming down his face. Razputine sits at his laptop, searching through blogs, making sure there are no clues as to what Cavan is planning. Raz sighs and closes the laptop.

Hey Bernard... I'm going to make something to eat... would you like something?

Bernard says nothing. Raz shakes his head and gets up from the desk and walks over to the mini fridge and pulls out a carton of eggs. He walks over to a mini gas powered stove top. He grabs a frying pan and sets it down, going about preparing eggs for himself. His shoulders shudder and he mutters to himself.

Raz... Bernard seems so sad. We need to kill Cavan... we need to find him and snap his neck... open his chest.. and eat his hear-

His shoulders tremble again before he interrupts himself.

We are not doing that, because drawing attention to ourselves, even to kill one of His proxies, is going to bring Him to our doorstep... We can't risk that... Bernard is in no emotional or mental state to be dealing with that.

He trembles and groans in frustration.

We haven't killed anything in so long... I'm boooored... How long do we have to hide?

Tremble.

Forever.

Bernard sniffles and lifts his head from the couch, looking over at Raz.

Hey Raz... I could go for some eggs actually. How is D holding up?

He sits up and wipes the tears from his eyes. Raz looks over his shoulder and shakes his head.

He's getting antsy. When we were on our own, we killed a lot of proxies... He grew accustomed to that level of violence, and it kept him occupied. Waiting like this has made me so boooored.

The change in Raz's voice makes Bernard visibly nervous, as they normally talk one at a time, not interrupting one another. Bernard walks over and places his hands on Raz's shoulders, kissing the back of his head. They really do make such a sweet couple. After what happened, Bernard needed soemeone... it's good Raz was there soon after to be there for him.

Well if the big scary Cavan shows up, I'm sure you'll get your chance, D. I'd like my eggs over easy if you can, sweety.

Bernard gives Raz a tight hug, sighing softly before going over to the desk and sitting down.

Any word from Cavan yet?

No... He's been totally silent the past few days. It really seems like unless we make a move, he won't know where we are. Also I've noticed more and more of our blogger friends going missing, dying, or otherwise going away... Things seem very rough out there...

I'm telling you two, if we kill Cavan, we have nothing to worry about.

No.

Raz frowns as he fixes the eggs for himself, putting them on a paper plate to the side before starting on Bernard's eggs.

If we kill Cavan, what stops Him from sending more people for us, or showing up Himself for that matter? Our only option is to lay low... Ever the voice of reason.

Bernard nods, knowing that Raz is completely right. He glances over at the window opposite the two of them, next to the door. Heavy rain is falling outside, making thunderous sounds as it pounds down on the roof. Despite the heavy rainfall, there is nothing visible beyond the window, only an inky blackness. Relax Bernard. I won't hurt you.
