February 21st 2014

Subject(s): Bernard Laguardia and "Razputine Panzerfaust"/"D" (no information on real name exists)

Bernard is curled up on a couch in their hotel room, watching the television set, tears streaming down his face. Razputine sits at his laptop, searching through blogs, making sure there are no clues as to what Cavan is planning. Raz sighs and closes the laptop.

Hey Bernard... I'm going to make something to eat... would you like something?

Bernard says nothing. Raz shakes his head and gets up from the desk and walks over to the mini fridge and pulls out a carton of eggs. He walks over to a mini gas powered stove top. He grabs a frying pan and sets it down, going about preparing eggs for himself. His shoulders shudder and he mutters to himself.

Raz... Bernard seems so sad. We need to kill Cavan... we need to find him and snap his neck... open his chest.. and eat his hear-

His shoulders tremble again before he interrupts himself.

We are not doing that, because drawing attention to ourselves, even to kill one of His proxies, is going to bring Him to our doorstep... We can't risk that... Bernard is in no emotional or mental state to be dealing with that.

He trembles and groans in frustration.

We haven't killed anything in so long... I'm boooored... How long do we have to hide?

Tremble.

Forever.

Bernard sniffles and lifts his head from the couch, looking over at Raz.

Hey Raz... I could go for some eggs actually. How is D holding up?

He sits up and wipes the tears from his eyes. Raz looks over his shoulder and shakes his head.

He's getting antsy. When we were on our own, we killed a lot of proxies... He grew accustomed to that level of violence, and it kept him occupied. Waiting like this has made me so boooored.

The change in Raz's voice makes Bernard visibly nervous, as they normally talk one at a time, not interrupting one another. Bernard walks over and places his hands on Raz's shoulders, kissing the back of his head. They really do make such a sweet couple. After what happened, Bernard needed soemeone... it's good Raz was there soon after to be there for him.

Well if the big scary Cavan shows up, I'm sure you'll get your chance, D. I'd like my eggs over easy if you can, sweety.

Bernard gives Raz a tight hug, sighing softly before going over to the desk and sitting down.

Any word from Cavan yet?

No... He's been totally silent the past few days. It really seems like unless we make a move, he won't know where we are. Also I've noticed more and more of our blogger friends going missing, dying, or otherwise going away... Things seem very rough out there...

I'm telling you two, if we kill Cavan, we have nothing to worry about.

No.

Raz frowns as he fixes the eggs for himself, putting them on a paper plate to the side before starting on Bernard's eggs.

If we kill Cavan, what stops Him from sending more people for us, or showing up Himself for that matter? Our only option is to lay low... Ever the voice of reason.

Bernard nods, knowing that Raz is completely right. He glances over at the window opposite the two of them, next to the door. Heavy rain is falling outside, making thunderous sounds as it pounds down on the roof. Despite the heavy rainfall, there is nothing visible beyond the window, only an inky blackness. Relax Bernard. I won't hurt you.
